Association

Irmgard Kaiser has since 1977 been working to help poor children in the world. For many years she worked exclusively private and with a burning zeal to help.

But, in one of her trips to Sri Lanka, she came out of a severe car accident. Fortunately she managed to escape with a whiplash injury and some hearty scars.

The association started in 2002 by a few sponsors that Irmgard had attached to it. They felt that they wanted to secure all the Irmgard contacts and help her to build on what she worked so hard all these years.

The association board is in Stenhamra and Tyresö just outside Stockholm. Our members are scattered around the country.

We have all talked to friends, colleagues, family and neighbors. Who in their turn talked further about the association. In this way we have grown from 0 to100 in a very short time. The board is all the fire souls who strive towards the same goal. Doing good leads to feeling good!

Our approach is simple. The path from idea to action is short and fast. Every cent collected will go directly to our projects. All our expenses are paid by membership fees. Expenditure may include postage, bank charges, website and other materials. Our trips are always paid by the travelers themselves.

Every year we go to Sri Lanka to visit orphanages and our other projects outside the home. We can then see what needs to be done and what we have been done looks good.

We always try to hear what their own desires are. Making improvements in concert is something we strive for. To be progressive, but culture clash is really an art. But so far we have managed to do without any major clashes. Much thanks to Irmgard experienced travelers and spontaneity.
